November 2007 Show in Florida was wonderful... made a marathon drive back to NYC to be in time for a show for the New York Historical Society in NYC. Unbelievably... when I returned the van I rented for the trip... I was so tired that I forgot to take my harp with me. All is well... it was found 3 days later and my harp and I have been reunited.

Virginia Beach, VA (PRWEB) January 8, 2007 -- On Jan. 27, exercisers from around the world will strap on their MP3 players and join together to support Jim MacLaren, a retired professional athlete and quadriplegic who has dedicated his life to motivating others.
The fun will begin on Jan. 27 at 12 p.m. when all participants will be asked to press play on their portable music player and workout. "Since we anticipate this workout to be purchased by exercisers across the globe and in every time zone, we are asking participants to do the workout at 12 p.m. their time," said Sean O'Malley, president and voice of the Cardio Coach Guided Workout Series. "This way, the energy created from everyone will flow for at least a 24-hour period."
O'Malley is creating a special workout which will be available for purchase on the Cardio Coach website (www.cardiocoach.com) on Jan. 20. All proceeds from the MP3 workout will go to the Choose Living Foundation and the fundraiser will include several prizes including 10 DVDs of Emmanuel's Gift signed by both MacLaren and Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah. Yeboah is a native of Ghana who obtained the bike that changed his life through MacLaren's Foundation. MacLaren is featured in Emmanuel's Gift with Yeboah. Corina Brouder, an award-winning singer, will perform a specially created version of her hit song, "Another Day" as part of the Press Play workout mix. "Another Day" was recently used to promote the hit television show, "Sex and the City". O'Malley created the Choose Living/Cardio Coach Press Play Day as
a way to support Jim MacLaren and his charity and share his energy worldwide.

A number of names have been discussed as potential Irish performers for next year's Eurovision Song Contest. [...] Corina Brouder and Una Healy. Corina (right) who hails from the Bronx district of New York, but has family roots in Limerick twice tried out in "You're A Star", but didn't make it through to the live shows. Despite this Corina received plenty of press attention, being featured on the front page of V.I.P. magazine and scoring a minor Irish hit with her own composition "Another Day", a song which is currently being used to promote the syndication of "Sex And The City" on American television. Corina is also known to have recorded a number of demos of potential Eurovision songs written by Irish songwriters and has she has continued her search for wider success on Simon Cowell's new television series "America's Got Talent" which is currently running on NBC in America. |

Today, our newspaper published a profile of Corina Brouder, a contestant on 'America's Got Talent.' The 27-year-old who made it through the June 28 round of the reality television show - it airs on NBC - has a family living in Springfield, although the family is originally from the Bronx. Corina Brouder, who cannot give interviews during the competition, performed on June 28 playing the harp and singing the Sarah McLachlan hit "Angel." She got the nod from celebrity judges singer Brandy, who said she sounded like an angel, actor David Hasselhoff and British journalist and TV personality Piers Morgan to proceed to the next round. To root for Brouder, tune in to NBC on Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. |

These "mini music videos" include clips from the show interspersed with Corina's vocals. "Another Day" is available from amazon.com . Superstation WGN is a network seen in almost 70-million cable and satellite homes across the US, the Caribbean and Canada and features a wide variety of quality programs including first-run comedies and dramas, originals, movies, and year-round sports.
